This is the first year in 11 years I’ll be spending Christmas with my Perth family (and the first in 7 I’ll be single so no boyfriend’s family do to hide from my Mum at). It’s a shame my Mum couldn’t hold back from being a bitch for one year so I could spend Christmas with my Dad before he died.

But I’m still going to get drunk with the white trash side of the family and bitch about everyone else anyway, so I can’t complain

My parents have been divorced since I was a toddler.

Me & my bro generally manage to make the trip to see both or do one on Xmas eve. That way we can have awkward embroilments as needed without compromise.
